Mike Davis
The Mike Davis Project is a Blues and Americana touring act rooted in raw storytelling, deep grooves, and road-tested musicianship. Designed as a flexible, performance-driven project, it moves seamlessly between intimate acoustic settings and full electric band stages—always grounded in authenticity, emotion, and the power of the song.
Led by Mike Davis, a Tampa Bay–based independent singer / songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, the project draws from classic American roots traditions while maintaining a modern, lived-in edge. Mike’s music sits comfortably in the pocket—unrushed, groove-forward, and emotionally direct—where blues phrasing, Americana storytelling, and roots textures intersect.
Mike performs on acoustic and electric guitar, slide guitar, harmonica, and vocals, building sets that can be stripped down to their emotional core or expanded into full-band arrangements without losing their impact. Most touring is done as a solo act or in smaller configurations, allowing for close audience connection, but the Mike Davis Project is intentionally structured to expand into a powerful full band for select regional and national opportunities.
When performing as a full band, the Mike Davis Project features an exceptional lineup of seasoned, high-level musicians who include: Les Sabler – Lead Guitar - Billboard Top 100 Jazz Charts (#2, 2025), Graeme Currie – Bass - Grammy Award–winning musician, Joe Renda – Drums - Veteran drummer with extensive national touring experience.
The Mike Davis Project is built for today’s live music landscape—equally at home in listening rooms, clubs, theaters, outdoor festivals, and cultural events. Whether delivered as a solo acoustic performance or a full electric band, the experience remains consistent: soulful songwriting, blues-forward grooves, and performances that feel honest, unforced, and deeply human.
The Mike Davis Project honors tradition while pushing forward—offering Blues and Americana that feel worn-in rather than replicated, music shaped by the road, the room, and the moment.

Based in Tampa, Florida, Mike performs with several instruments: acoustic, electric, slide, harmonica, and vocals
